WordPress Breakfast and WaVE Coworking

Have breakfast at Oxford Exchange then head over the WaVE building for free coworking all day! See their calendar for full event description: http://www.tampabaywave.org/calendar/

See you in the morning for breakfast then off to work at WaVE!

Tampa Bay WaVE Address:

400 N. Ashley Drive, 2nd FL
Tampa, FL 33602

PARKING FOR OXFORD:

Park in the back of the building, and enter in the back of the building. If you're lucky you can catch something on the street, if not, turn down cedar and park in the parking lot in the back. See diagram of what street to turn down if you're coming east on west on Kennedy. Green circles are where you should park. Blue rectangle is where you should enter.

PARKING FOR TAMPA BAY WaVE:

You can park in the underground lot but it is crowded and expensive during the day. I would recommend finding a 717 lot to park in for the day or try the Poe parking garage. See diagram for suggested parking. Blue X is our venue (beer can building, second floor), green circles are parking options.

Alison, can you explain a bit more detail on Parking ?

I saw someone else post ... and thought there may be a parking issue ??

No there's plenty of parking especially at the hour we are going. If there's nothing on the street, turn down cedar and you'll see sound for Oxford parking. Just make sure you are navigating to the back if the building, not the front. See diagram in description.

I tried to make reservations both online and via phone but that proved to be a big fail so I left a message. Worst case we just show up and they grab some tables together.

So if you are there before I am (very likely) and there's nothing setup for the "WordPress Group" just have them setup some tables for about 8 people.

I'm coming from Westchase tomorrow and traffic at that time is normally the pits on the Veterans, so I will probably be running late.

Alison, I really appreciate you setting this up. I have a rather Secret Project I am working on ..and have been meaning to get down there to meet the Team at the WaVE .... Now I don't have an excuse and the timing looks good too!

Feel free to RSVP and only go to the breakfast too, no worries if you can't stick around WaVE all day.

would we have any trouble finding parking at the oxford exchange?

    January 9, 2014

    • Alison F.

There's plenty of parking but I'll outline where the best place is, since it's difficult to find for first-timers.
