I received the following from one of our long-time members:

Ok so i was at chilies last night with my service dog(doxie)
Coty and a lady came up to me asking me if i would like to
have her 3 year old red piebald female dachshund. i said yes
but cant keep her for more then 2 weeks. i need to find her a
home by the end of the month. is anyone willing to adopt this
sweet little 7lbs girl?

I followed up and received the following information:

she is not fixed and there aren't any pics. she is great with kids and all dogs. she is healthy and up to date on all shots. the owner gave her up cause they are moving into an assisted living facility and they dont allow dogs

How about it? Who's interested in this red piebald gal? She sounds adorable. For some reason, piebalds remind me of Snoopy, I don't know why. Maybe because the first one I ever saw was black and white, and either had black ears, or I imagine him with black ears. It was at the Dox-a-palooza that was most recently held at Crest Lake Park, and he was only maybe six months old or so, but he was a looker. Not as good looking as my Dahli doll, though!

Snuggle up with your Dachshund today!
