Class was informative. I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. I misread the part of the class description about the bootable flash drive. I was able to run dump1090 which was my main objective.

If I get into the AngularJS meeting, I may not be able to come to this. I wish there was a tentative option.

Afraid I won't be able to make it this Wednesday but I'm looking forward to attending later in the summer.

It will be my first time at the Hackerspace. Are there any things I need to know not listed on the web site? Should I bring a laptop, or is a system provided? I recently heard about SDR, and was interested.... Then I discovered this class. Great timing!

Answers! This is a beginner course, so no pre-reqs. Laptops can be provided, but it's best to bring yours just in case.

I will say for the record, in response to the numerous questions, this was not me. This is also why I don't teach TX anything at the hackerspace... however... I will be offering an antenna theory and basic wave propogation course in the near future.

Will you cover SDR applications on windows7 or Linux?

      Kali Linux

SDR applications in windows are briefly mentioned, but the class is designed using Linux due to the much broader support base within the community.
