Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope will be released into the wild on 23 April 2009. This meetup will be in conjunction with the Florida Loco team's Florida release parties spread throughout the state.

We'll be having the get-together at The Minnreg Hall in Largo, courtesy of [pnp]Tomas, with a slight admission charge of $10/person to cover both admission and food. We'll be there from 5:30 to about 8:30, and have pizza, dessert, and other good foodstuffs for dinner.

Please RSVP!

    •  It was a great time, this was the most people we've had so far. Thank you to Michelle and Michael for organizing this meetup.
    •  The singular most awesome event in the universe. Ever! Plus there were cupcakes.
    •  Very good networking meetup . people were extremely friendly and helpful . .
    •  GREAT to see everyone!!
    •  I would like to see presentations of various aspects of ubuntu at these meetings. The presentations don't have to take up the whole time. But I'd like to learn something I didn't know when I go to the meeting. Examples: compiz, dbus, network manager vs /etc/network/interfaces, how to set up ubuntu to play DVD movies, how to set up a home web server (including dyndns and setting up in-house routers). I'm sure that other people would have things to add to this list too.
