This group is for mothers of infants, toddlers and preschoolers who had a child at the age of 30 or older. We know how difficult it can be to meet other moms, and our group is a great way to make new friends! Do you currently have a little one and are looking to meet other moms your own age? Then this is the group for you!
We want to build lasting friendships between ourselves and our kids. We are a diverse group of positive and upbeat women who meet weekly for fun activities like park dates, luncheons, in-home play dates, pool parties, the zoo, aquarium and anything else that is fun! All suggestions welcome! While most of our moms are stay-at-home moms, all moms welcome. We try to schedule most meet-ups in the mornings to accommodate lunch and naptimes but we also have a group of kids in preschool that meet in the afternoons. There are also some (but not as many) evening and weekend events.
ATTENTION NEW/POTENTIAL MEMBERS:
All new members are required to attend a Meetup within the first 2 weeks of joining the group. If you do not attend a meetup in 2 weeks you will be removed.
We understand that there are a lot of moms interested in joining this group from all over Tampa Bay, and all are welcome to join! However, we need to stress that our group is set up for “Tampa Moms Over 30”, and most of our activities will take place in Tampa, with some activities extending throughout the Tampa Bay area. Before joining, please keep in mind the time it takes for you to get to not just South Tampa, but to Central and North Tampa as well since there are lots of meetups in those areas. We want active moms joining our group.
This group is highly member-run, meaning we encourage members to host meetups. Hosting a meetup simply means that you post a meetup on the calendar that you plan on attending and then others who are interested will sign-up to go as well. While the Organizers do host meetups, we are busy moms (just like you) with schedules outside of this group, so please don't depend on us to host most of the meetups. More Hosts = More Meetups.

In case you didn't already know, Meetup.com is not free for everyone. Meetup charges organizers a fee in order to keep the group active. Being a SAHM on a budget, we are requiring members to chip in. Members pay $12.00 annually. Members dues are to be paid within your first month of joining and then annually after that.
To remain active in the group, as a new member we ask that you participate in at least one meetup within the first 2 weeks of joining. This allows people to get to know you, and for you to know the rest of the group! If at any point you have no activity for 3 months or more you will be removed from the group.
