Why do you want to join Tampa Otaku?

To stay connected with another aspect of Japanese culture in the area.

What type of events would you like to participate in?

No preference.

What is your favorite thing about being an otaku?

Anime and Manga provide a window into Japanese culture that is not only a gateway into a still relatively difficult culture to access, but also unique art forms that range from commercial to spiritual, profane to insightful, and everything in between. Of all Japan's cultural treasures, anime and manga are perhaps the most worldwide and influential.

I'm Tampa Region Coordinator for the Japan Exchange Teaching Alumni Association of Florida, member of the Tampa Japanese Meetup, and Director of Tampa Natsumatsuri.
