Bonnie's practice piece is an abstract art work in itself!
My water color inspired by looking at Bonnie's and seeing so much in it.
This gorgeous cleverly done Yellow Brick Road is by Steph.
My work is changing as I teach and the students teach me by their instinctive use of the media. I am very happy with this painting which reminds me of New Zealand painter Frances Hodgkins.
I see the influence of students in the playful background...
another test piece - we practice techniques and blends and that silk is also processed and can be used as a scarf or even hung if it comes out right.

For subsequent session on the fee is $10 an hour for studio time. and then $25 per new work - which covers material expenses and processing time. I will advise you on simple formats which can be completed in the time if you wish for only one session. The steaming is a separate process - i use professional Procion Fibre-reactive dyes which allow for brilliance of color and exquisite color blending - but they do require steaming for an hour. Subsequently I wash and iron the silk and post it to you or you may pick it up. I also teach the steaming process to students who wish to learn it.
4 or max 5 is the number of students - whatever meet-up says.
And you need to confirm the date with me as Meetup requires a specific date so i had to make up one.
