Mark - Showing up is not wasting your time - I agree that there is much more to be done than "protesting" and "holding up signs" and we have have work to do - coming together to visibly represent that there are many of us who disagree with our current government allows others who may be feeling the same way the opportunity to see that they are not alone - the larger our group, the more impact we will have on our community.
By the way - many of those speaking will be addressing your issue

Speakers will be addressing your issue of government "not listening" and will be sharing their insight, professionalism and leadership with us. Even if you only hear and learn one new thing - it would be worth your while - hope to see you there!

    BEWARE OF INFILTRATORS
You can speak out at the polls

"Since no one is speaking about why the government ignores our
wishes and violates our rights, I won't waste my time going to
listen to a bunch of people who think that doing the same old
thing will bring different results. By the way, isn't that a
    definition of insanity.

MarkAdams, With such strong negativity, it is most likely true that you are in fact an infiltrator.

Please folks, ignore his posts!!! These rallies have had tremendous impact and if not for them, we would surely be in far deeper do-do than we already are. It is because of these rallies and other efforts, that more and more people are joining us in our duty to save our country.

Was great, but the security (tampa cops) were RUDE. How can you have a sign waving, when they prevent one from waving signs? All the other ones I have been to, the cops were with us; this crew looked and acted like we were extremists, not taxpayers who pay their salaries.

    Thanks for setting it up!

I sure wish I could've been there. There was no way I could get away from a certain commitment or I would've been there to join in the rally to save our country. I will be looking to join you all in other activities.

To me the only thing wrong was that alot more Americans were not there, there is so much apathy, denial, complacency. We cant afford losing the fight for our country
  • Marlene Bergendale
It was good to share some time with hundreds of others who share my ideas and ideals. The speakers were very informative and challenging. Thank you for an awesome experience.
  • Pat Bewley
EXCELLENT -- and all this without any federal gov't subsidy! Amazing!
  • Tony Buntyn
This was so much fun! Lots of great Patriots. Thanks! Tony Buntyn for Congress

Well organized. The speaker line-up was done well. I particularly enjoyed Dr McKalip, Ana Puig and Willie Lawson. They clearly addressed the concerns of the TEA party patriots. The park location and set-up was very good as well. The last speaker, Frank Gaffney, was a bit of a far out nut job, and was not reflective of the majority of TEA party people. I believe putting him on the agenda was a disservice to our movement. Good thing he was last.
  • Keith Eshelman
All the speakers were good but the total length of all of them was too long. More than half left before Frank Gafney(sp?) spoke on Sharia Law. Believe it or not, although they like to speak, they each could have shortend their talks still more. Even still it was good. The music that preceded and intermixed was extremly good and really added a lot to the event.

Good event. It was 1 hour too long is my only comment
  • mike switzer
Very impressed with number who showed up. Very orderly, upbeat audience. A few counter-demonstrators but no gross signs or apparent incidents other than arguing. Sorry Marco Rubio had family illness prevent his attendance, and remaining speakers/topics were mixed in effectiveness.

  • Pam Hill

Everybody was well behaved and the guest speakers were excellent

Had a great meetup today w/ great inspirational speakers. The music was over the top WOW!
  • Madeleine Holway
I'm so tired right now. 8:20 p.m. It was a place I just had to be. Being with people who are frustrated and angry just like me. It helps you realize your not alone. We can carry on now.
