This is the 2nd Public Forum to be held with regards to the Hillsborough County Economic Development and Transportation committee. We understand they will be hosting public forums at about 5 high schools around the county. They are looking for your input so attend, provide your input and listen to what is being said. Stay engaged and informed on this critical issue.
A public engagement meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m., at C. Leon King High School, in the cafeteria, 6815 N. 56th St. in Tampa. This public forum is being held to gain public input on the issues that have gone before the Transportation for Economic Development in Hillsborough County leadership group. The leadership group is comprised of the mayors of Plant City, Tampa and Temple Terrace; Hillsborough County Commissioners; and a representative from HART.
These public forums are work sessions for citizens and residents to provide input and think strategically about transportation that will lead to a stronger and more competitive economy, creating more jobs for residents, and ultimately leading to a higher quality of life.
