About Tampa Area Animal Rights Meetup Group

Our group is designed to help people get active for animals. Our main activities are leafleting, tabling and restaurant outreach. Every Tuesday when college is in session we do leafleting at local colleges through Vegan Outreach's Adopt-A-College program. http://www.veganhealt...

We're also focusing on restaurant outreach through http://vegtampabay.co... Click on "files" on the left of the screen to find the letter to use to send to restaurants. This will mutually benefit restaurants and vegetarians by increasing veg options and providing free advertising to those restaurants who choose to add compassion to their menus.

We also have tabling events whenever a festival or other event comes to town that we can be a non-profit vendor. At these events we need people to staff the table. This is where people can pick up literature and be educated about factory farming and how to save farm animals from a life of suffering.
