Join FVA from 10am - 12pm as we educate holiday shoppers about the cruelty of the fur trade on Fur Free Friday.

Fur-Free Friday, an annual event that takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving, aims to educate people about the horrors suffered by fur-bearing animals. Organized originally in 1986 by grassroots activists to abolish the fur trade, Fur-Free Friday has grown to be one of the most widely attended annual demonstrations of the animal rights movement. Through protests, education, and the promotion of cruelty-free fashion, we give a voice to the millions of animals who suffer and die each year.

We'll have signs, so just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for an afternoon of EYE OPENING!

Plan to join your fellow demonstrators for lunch afterwards [location TBD] - GREAT TIMES!

    • “ I'm disappointed that more people aren't showing up for the animals. We used to have 25 or more people & lots of signs, banners & props. I understand if ur working or oot u can't be there, but if ur in tn & belong to FVA or just care about animals & want to stop the abuse, then get off ur butt & get out there. It's only 2 hrs out of ur day for a lifetime of suffering these animals go thru. ”
