In Rochester, NY I was the campaign coordinator for Compassionate Consumers. We did an investigation and created a documentary (wegmanscruelty.com)
. I plan to organize a schedule for activism in the Tampa area. 727-237-6223 for immediate questions.
Leafletting is my favorite type of activism. I participate in Vegan Outreach's Adopt-A-College program. (www.veganoutreach.org). I also like to leaflet at concerts, and set up tables at events to provide information to the public.
I have always been extremely bothered when I see cruelty to animals. I decided that instead of turning my head, it would be better to face the truth and try to change it. I believe that educating others is the best way to help animals.
I'm currently available all of the time except for Monday nights. Starting at the end of January I will be available nights, all day Wednesdays, and weekends. This may change but I will update it if necessary.
"Last week I leafletted at University of South Florida and it was my most rewarding and fun experience leafletting ever. Someone even stopped to help me! Florida is a great place to do activism. As a team we can work well together and provide support."
Because animals need us to be their voices. Even though we are busy and sometimes shy, we have to make time to help them or no one will. They depend on us, so we have to break out of our shells for them, as we would want us to do if we were in their position.
