Plenty of traders have been burned trading the opening hour. You'll even hear trading veterans advising novices to stay out of the market during the first 30 to 60 minutes. The fact is, there are fabulous opportunities early in the day. Sometimes, those are the only opportunities of the day. You just have to know what to look for and what to avoid.
