Hello Everyone-

Let's do some gaming at Perkins, by USF.
If you have any game requests here is my game library:
Joseph Rose Game Library
http://boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/DeviantMagick?own=1&subtype=boardgame&ff=1
(After clicking on the link click the image of the 4 squares in the upper left hand side of the screen to see large images of all the games.)
Please feel free to mention games you're interested in playing in the comments of the meetup and we can start playing the "What game are we gonna play?" game early!

In case you didn't know, Perkins is a restaurant.  Though we don't require you to eat, we do kindly ask that you consider supporting the establishment that's allowing us to play games, and also be considerate of the time and attention provided by the staff.

If you do decide to eat we ask that you not eat at the tables where the games are being played to try and keep everyone's games in pristine condition.  Accidents do happen and this will help keep those accidents to a minimum.

This location is 24 hours so there's no end time to the meetup. We're going to start at 6pm and game until everyone's done. (They have bottomless pots of coffee for less than $3.00 per person.)

We would like to make sure everyone that shows up has a place to sit and gets a chance to play games.  If you think you can attend please RSVP so we know how many tables to request and we have an idea if we should try and wait for any late stragglers due to traffic, etc...

Please pass the word along.

We hope to see many of you there and get to play lots and lots of games!

Had a great time all; I believe I introduced eight people to Archipelago and everyone seemed to like it. When Joseph gets back we can play the long version with him. :-)

Got to finally try Biblios last night (been on my wish list for a long time). I really enjoyed the game and especially so because Matt hated it. Came close to winning both times. Drew won once and Jackson once. Definitely looking to buy it now.

Hey all. Some of you have tried my game prototype, but most of you haven't. Its a deckbuilding/dice combat game with a mythical theme. I even have a name now "Against the Legends". It got tested a few times at Dice Tower Con and I have been working feverishly to improve it since then. I am eager to try it out again. If anyone is interested in trying it - please post here.

I'll be arrived about 8:30 and would like to test it when I get there.

    Thanks

Had a good time even though I died horribly to the hydra.

Jim, I've been wanting to play this one for a while. I have n't seen anyone that has had a copy of it. I don't even think it was at Dice Tower Con......

I haven't seen it around either (published 2010) but it has some good buzz about it. It's on my radar.

May have some guests show up. They are in St. Pete for Warped Tour, so it depends on if they have enough gas to spare to drive up here.

Wouldn't mind trying some more Onirim, if you are up for it.

Joseph will be taking an extended work trip so I will again be doing whatever hosting and organizing is required. If you have any game requests post here and it is likely someone has it. Yay games!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
