Playing Games in the Alley

It's Wednesday night and you want to game? Wait... and you're closer to the Riverview area of Tampa Bay or feel like taking a drive to explore the area.  It's OK we have got you covered.

Come on out and join us for playing games in the Alley at Southshore every Wednesday night.

This location and night is the main game night for one of our sister groups the Florida Suncoast Gamers. (FSG)  The group starts to gather around 5:00 pm to socialize and eat, then start playing around 6:00 pm or so, and games will run until approximately midnight when the establishment closes.

Games played are a mixture of light and heavier board games. Wednesday night the core group revels in heavy games that are particularly conflict oriented if you're looking to dive in and stretch your mental capacities.  Of course, the lighter fair is always welcome, but if you just need that hard core game once in a while, there is always someone at the table this night that would love to dig in and play a heavy game that takes a mental investment and maybe even a time investment.

The Alley at Southshore has Alley Kat's Pub & Grill located inside that serves the gamut of options of which you can peruse in the menu.  Since they are providing our gaming space we hope you will be so kind to consider supporting them and partaking of the food and beverage choices.

FSG also has a Google group forum for keeping in touch in addition to our meetup group. You can join their conversations outside of this meetup event here:

We hope you come out and join us for gaming fun. Everyone is welcome.

We played two games of Atlantic Storm. Doug won the first in a tie-breaker, and Pat won the second sailing away.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
