Hi Guys, due to the numbers attending, i can get us into lunch at chandlers 2 course for £10, eating slightly earlier than planned sitting at 12.45 eating at 1pm, menu below, let me know if this affects anyones plans, have booked for 10 people-
Chandlers Restaurant & Bar, Conduit Street in Lichfield
Chandlers will be offering a French Fixed Price Lunch Menu of two courses for £10. This will be available at lunchtime on Saturday 31 August from 12 noon to 2pm and on Sunday 1 September from 12 noon to 3pm.
For £10, diners will be able to choose from:
Starter: Soupe au Pistou (v)/ Pork Rillette, Toasted French Bread, Red Onion Chutney/ Moules Marinieres
Main: Leg of Duck Confit, Gratin Dauphinois, Black Cherry Jus/ Coq au Vin, Steamed Wild Rice/ Twice Baked Camembert & Chive Souffle, Wilted Greens, Herb Veloute (v).
Desert: Vanilla Creme Brulee/ Apple Tarte Tatin, Chantilly Cream/ Chocolate Profiteroles.

Last year’s Lichfield Food Festival’s Farmers’ Market was a huge success, with the market packed with festival goers. Due to popular demand, Lichfield City Council is extending this year’s Farmers’ Market over the whole weekend. Lichfield will be packed with specialist producers that will be bringing a wide variety of sweet and savoury food to tempt you! There will also be children’s activities at Lichfield’s Market Square on Sunday 1 September. This will include face painting and a craft activity.
