Tango Thursdays is New York's favorite live music night that features exclusively Argentine tango. It's hosted by the guitarist Adam Tully and his trio, which features Emilio Teubal on piano and Pedro Giraudo on bass.
Our current home is at the Kosy Kaña Milonga, which takes place every Thursday from 5:30-10:30 at Kaña Tapas Bar, a cosy spot in SOHO.
There are many regulars, everyone is friendly, and we (the band) have a great time playing and hanging out. We even talk about tango history, do tango sing-alongs, have a raffle, and have a great time.
Tango Thursdays was founded in 2009 at Pane e Vino in Cobble hill and lived there for 6 years. The main group, founded for Tango Thursdays, was the trio Importango (Machiko Ozawa, violin; Octavio Brunetti, piano; Adam Tully, guitar).
Join this group if you:

Adam runs the band and introduces friends, guests, relatives, and tango dancers-- stop by and say hello.
