Alchemy Devi is a psychologist who earned her master and doctorate at USC where her training was in existential humanistic encounter groups, ego, depth and quantum psychology and phenomenology. Her dissertation, journal articles  and award winning feature film ("Not Bad for a Girl") as well as her international speaking engagements spanning 20 years have been on the subject of gender, sexuality, and the phenomenolgoy of creativity, embodiment, music & sound healing. Subsequently, she studied many forms of dance including Butoh, Flamenco, Egyptian and tribal belly dance, comedy and contact improv, sound healing, martial arts and chi gong. Over the past 15 years she channeled with Blackfoot, Kumeyay and serpent shamanic medicine guides, yogis, and Tibetan Buddhist monks leading her to develope a unique style of Taoist, Kundalini, and Tibetan Buddhist Tantra and ultimately to her Pranic/Qi dance company. Alchemy Devi is a medicine dancer and heart whisperer and has been producing, directing, and choreographing improvisational theatre and healing rituals NYC, Los Angeles, Black Rock Desert, Vegas, San Francisco, and San Diego. She has been a repeat radio guest and host and invited to television including Good Morning America Austrailia and The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart and was acting coach for the three main characters in the Sundance award winning feature, "Fun".
