Taoist Tai Chi on Tuesdays evenings in Clinton, NJ
We are an out reach program of the TTCS of the U.S. through the NY-NJ-CT Tristate branch (see the international website at www.taoist.org), a not-for-profit organization spreading Tai Chi for the health benefits.
Tai Chi for beginners is an exercise/health program focusing on fine muscle control, flexibility, balance, improved circulation, and can correct many minor physical aches and pains; it is helpful for athletes, as several our members will attest. Everyone benefits from stretching, improving balance, building leg strength, and the 'moving meditation' aspect.... it is challenging in a low-key way and IT IS FUN!
Tai chi is also a flowering of the Taoist tradition - wisdom developed over centuries by men and women exploring the human experience with sensitivity and insight. Continuing tai chi beyond the beginner level opens up a lifetime of discovery.
