We'll be going to The Chesterfield, for an award-winning afternoon tea after the walk, I hope you can join us!

Event details:

A guided walk is the best way to experience and discover London.

Whether you’re new in town or a local wanting to see the city through a fresh set of eyes, a Tastour walk will reveal London’s highlights, away from the tourist’s traps and crowded streets.

Our walks are led by a City of Westminster guide, a passionate epicurean, who will share with you London’s food and drink history and hotspots. With snippets of information, fun facts and top recommendations, you’ll get a taste of our gastronomic capital whilst meeting a small group of like-minded people.

Attending on your own?  Don’t be nervous.  Most attendees will be on their own and our events are designed to make you feel like your one of the regulars as soon as you arrive.

For the third year running we are very proud to have received the "Award for Excellence" from The Tea Guild for an 'Outstanding Afternoon Tea'.  There is a veggie tea, chocolate tea and a few others.

Traditional afternoon tea is £32.50 without Champagne or from £39.50 with.

When you pay for your walking tour ticket, it will ask you if you would like to come.  If the guide is able to change the booking you can decide on the day

What’s included: A commentary by a qualified City of Westminster guide with like-minded London enthusiasts, a map and list of links of the places mentioned on the tour.

For all Tastour award-winning events, pre-booking early on is advised due to high demand.

‘Great day out! I thought I knew a lot about London, but the excellent, knowledgeable guide proved me wrong. It was a good mix of enjoyable people, learning about places I’ve already been and discovering a few hidden gems. Providing the map and links was a real bonus’ Tastourian, Janet

Jo, the guide, has just informed me that the last time she went to thee Chesterfield it was fully booked. Therefore we have had to confirm numbers. If you signed up as maybe for the tea, and would like to join us, please text me ASAP[masked]

Also I sent all the details of the meeting points in an email yesterday.

And there's always a few that haven't read the event description - this is not a tasting walk. You are paying for jo's time as a historical guide.

Hope u enjoy it, it's one of my favourite walks.

had a lovely afternoon. Joanna had a wealth of knowledge about the area and gave some fascinating insights.
The only slight downside was that the afternoon tea was more than had been stated, £32.50 not £25.50.
None the less a really enjoyable afternoon with good company.

Hi Karen, sorry I thought I sent it in an email the the tea price had been updated, the price was orginally stated from last year, but I updated it on the site, when Joanna mentioned it had gone up and they had additional offerings. Glad you enjoyed the walk though. Cheers,

This was a really lovely afternoon! Joanna was very informational about the buildings and the colorful people that were so much a part of history that lived there. The pubs and wine shop were pleasant diversions but still part of the history of the area.

Hello, Just a quick update on the Afternoon Tea themed walk - you'll be stopping off in the new shop and tasting room, Hedonism Wines - from the Wall Street Journal: Split over two floors in the heart of Mayfair, Hedonism isn’t so much a wine shop as a showroom containing the greatest wines in the world.

Hello! I'm so thrilled to be working with Jo on some of our walking tours. She really does a great job at researching the latest venues to go to, new historical stories and local gossip. She has just told me that the Chesterfield is now offering two new teas: a Veggie and Chocolate Lovers afternoon tea. The Chesterfield has won the 'Tea of Excellence award' for three straight years. Hope you can make it!
