Dinner, Comedy & music = best supper club I've been 2! (4 FREE Bon Vivants Txs))

Without a doubt, this was one of the best night out I've had in London in the past 10 years.  It had it all - great food, music & comedy.  The production team takes 7 hours to set up the lighting and sound, and it really does have a wow factor.  My steak was actually too big (yes, that was my only complaint). &  the wine was great value and I'm so excited to be going back again!  As you know, I love sharing great experiences, and I know you will love this one!

This event sold out last time, so please buy your ticket asap to avoid disapointment.

More info:

Join fellow Tastourians for a night of award winning entertaining acts (Gemma from the Game of Thrones, award winning French comedian Marcel Lucont, and novelist Natalie Young), music (the 50 piece Chaps Choir and Harpist Anne Denholm) and food in the stirring Victorian surroundings of the Central Foundation Boys’ School in Shoreditch.  This is a NEW, bi-monthly supperclub; Being the night after Valentine's Day the theme is all about LOVE!

You will enjoy a delicious & hearty three-course shared banquet. The menu has been devised by Cult Events' Head Chef, Ian Ballantyne.

A fully stocked bar will keep you watered including a selection of wines and a number of exclusive themed cocktails created by Cult Events' very own mixologist. (Please note, this event is not BYOB)

Curriculum

As well as enjoying a delicious & hearty three-course shared banquet devised by Cult Events head chef Ian Ballantyne, guests will also be entertained for the evening by a mouth-watering line-up of guests, including Headmistress Chastity Butterworth (Gemma Whelan from Game of Thrones), French comedian Marcel Lucont, novelist Natalie Young, the 50 piece Chaps Choir and Harpist Anne Denholm with more to be announced.

Headmistress: Chastity Butterworth

Our hilarious headmistress for the evening will be Chastity Butterworth, the unique, award-winning comedy creation from West End performer Gemma Whelan. Star of stage and screen, Gemma is perhaps best known for playing Yara Greyjoy in Games of Thrones. As her much-loved character creation Chastity Butterworth she will once again weave her wicked sense of humour into the show with aplomb.

Head of French: Marcel Lucont

Say ‘Bonjour’ to Marcel Lucont, our Head of French for the evening. Flâneur, raconteur et bon-viveur,. Lucont was awarded the 2012 Amused Moose Award for the Best Comedy Show of Edinburgh Fringe and the 2013 Fringe World Award for Best Comedy. With his sharp wit and wordplay he’s sure to bring a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the night’s proceedings…

Home Economics: Natalie Young

As the author of ‘Season To Taste or How to Eat Your Husband’, Natalie Young may seem a slightly unusual choice of guest for an event based on Valentines weekend. But there’s sure to be a knowing glance and a cheeky wink or two shared amongst the anti-Valentines as Natalie takes to the stage with her Home Economics ‘lecture’.

WHAT STYLE OF EVENT IS IT:

This is a supper club event.  That means it is an informal gathering with food prepared by inspiring chefs and artist.  Like other 'pop up's' it is an event that will not be repeated, it is hosted in an usual location and carries a bit of mystery/intrique.  I personally love the suspense of this type of dining and hope you'll join me for the journey!

Near Old Street

A nice bunch of fellow diners, good entertainment and general randomness! Felt they could have improved it had it all been on one level, but all in all a unique and fun night out. Thank you x
