Fine Wine Tasting & (optional) lunch at my fav wine bar in Belgravia

Hello!  I thought we'd kick off the New Year with a Fine Wine tasting, followed by a luncheon at one of my Favorite wine bars.  This event is limited to 14 people, so don't delay and BOOK YOUR TICKET HERE (if you can't pay now, you can sign up as a yes, and I'll remind you to pay after the holidays)

There are 6 tickets left. (as of 9th Jan)

About the tasting:

You'll be welcomed with a taste of invigorating bubbles, and a delightlightful spread of fleshly sliced meats and fine cheeses (veggie options available).  For around an hour, wine expert Arnaud Compas. will enchant you with tales of the tipple.

About the wine:

There are very few wines in this shop which cost less than £20.  There are some rather unusal finds here, so if you like your wines to be made off the beaten track, you'll eyes will light up like kids in a candy shop at the selection!

Our wine expert, Arnaud Compas

About the shop:

Market Quarter is the Belgravia flagship store of Le Marche du Quartier, the French deli stall in Borough Market. Expect wonderful charcuterie including hand carved Iberico ham, specialist cheeses, German rye breads and delicious food products from France, Italy, Spain and Britain as well as a wine cellar stocked with an exciting selection of fine wines sourced by Arnaud Compas, our wine curator.

For a sneak peak at some of the items we'll be sampling, or to buy online, visit http://www.marketquarter.com/

(I just ordered the truffled salt.  The aroma is amazing and a great quick cheat for pastas!)

After the tasting:

One of my favourite wine bars is just across the street from Market Quarter. It's listed in the Michelin Guide and is so cozy.

Here's the menu: http://eburyrestaurant.co.uk/uploads/file/Brunch_08_12_12.pdf

If you are unsure about lunch, you may be able to decide on the day. However, I can not guarantee that you will be able to sit with the group. It's a very small and charming venue.

I hope you agree that this is wonderful new addition to our 2013 calendar , and I'm really looking forward to sharing the experience with you all!

I really enjoyed this wine tasting in a small & intimate location. The food supplied with the wine was excellent. The prosecco & first white were my favourites

    Hello!

I've had an email about tomorrow's tasting and the snow.

Looks like there were only small delays on the overground, and most people will be coming by tube. So the show shall go on!! If you're planning to drive in, or take the underground, you may want to try and resell your ticket. You can do this by posting a message online. If you are planning on using anything but the underground, please allow extra time to get there.

We'll be inside for the tasting, and lunch is a few doors down, so I don't think it should be a problem. The only big problem I see is my increasing desire to go to a pub and sit by the fire after lunch!

    Cheers,

    Kelly

Please note, the event is sold out, and only those who have purchased a ticket can attend. Sorry, next one of this style is 9th March.

Hi, I was just trying to book the March one too but it doesn't seem to allow for the £21 ticket - only offers the full price one. Thanks
