Hello Tastourians!

It's Friday night, I'm working away (and sipping one of the best wines I've had in a long time! It's a Primitivo Grape, from Puglia, Italy and if you know me, you know I love my New World Hedonistic Friut Bombs, surprise, surprise!!!

Funny enough, on our recent wine tasting boat ride, Julia commented: "Lovely evening and great food and wine. For years I have only drunk new world wines, this evening taught me how lively old wines can be too." - I agree!  Do you?

That's me!!! ...just about to present a Blind Wine Challenge

to 29 women and 6 men (get the point?)

and I still overheard a woman say, she would attend this event again!!!

(next Floating Classroom event is on 6th October

Back to the point of writing:

Whilst printing out the guest list for tomorrow's walking tour I noticed there was only 1 man signed up (that's 1 in 12 women - so your odds are fairly good.)

Ladies, I hope you'll excuse me: We have to laugh at the necessity of spelling things out to men, don't we? And I hope everyone takes this in jolly good humour!!! (notice my proper English spelling? you'd think I was a Brit, not an American)

It's only fair to say: the women who attend our exclusive events are fun, interesting individuals who enjoy the fact that there is no pressure at all to meet and sociali(s)e. The opportunities to laugh, taste and exchange tips and ideas mean that everything happens quite naturally. Of course, the wine on offer is always a nifty social lubricant!

If a married women is allowed to say: we have a charming group of men who regularly attend our events (yes, you know who you are - and you're reading this angry, as I'm spilling the beans on London's best kept secret); however, they are often surrounded by beautiful women, whom although easily satisfied with fine wine and their surroundings, would welcome your company.

So…come and join the fun. You never know who you might meet!

Good natured men and women + a little wine and a fun evening of tasting and lively discussion = a welcome change from a night out at the pub with all the guys! (Of course, you could even bring the guys!)

No, we’re not a dating site: we have a number of couples that regularly enjoy our services, as well as groups of friends who are interested simply in good food and drink and having fun.

However, not only have many platonic friendships blossomed at our events, but we’ve had the pleasure of seeing more than a few relationships develop from friendship into love.

It might interest you to know most of our events have a girl to guy ration of 5:1, and with the case of events like Ascot is 25:1!  Don't worry ladies...  We have an absolute ball, regardless!

If I've managed to keep you attention for as long as this, I promise us ladies only bite when asked and we'd love for you to join us...

I guess there's nothing left to say except…  Hope to see you soon!
