EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to join Team Long Beach for a fun mid week ride. We will meet at LONG BEACH CYCLERY at 5:30PM and please be prepared for our safety presentation right away. (Mandatory) Roll out is at 5:45PM sharp. We will leave you if you are not there, because we are racing against the setting sun.
Please be sure to bring lights and wear bright colors especially in the month of March/early April. We want the cars to be able to see us!
Required items for all Training Rides. If you don’t have any of the items listed, please contact us. We’ll help you figure out what you need and where to get it!
Bike (In safe and good working order)
2 Water Bottles (1 with hydration/electrolyte mix)
Snacks (energy bars are good and quick!)
Lights for your bike - front and rear!
Both routes will be a friendly and easy pace and ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. NO RIDER WILL EVER BE LEFT BEHIND.
*Note: There is NO requirement to be a member of Team Long Beach or to be riding in AIDS/LifeCycle to join us. We offer our safe, friendly and fun training rides for the enjoyment of the entire community, however, it is an official training ride for AIDS/LifeCycle. So come on out, make some new friends and pedal your cares away.*
