Really a great group of riders. I'm a newb and 40 miles was a big stretch, but they were super helpful and got me through it. Thanks all of you.

Hi, approximately what time will we be getting back? I'm just curious so I can plan my day. Thanks.

We usually estimate 10 miles per hour including rest stops, but depending on your speed, you may be faster or slower.

Is everyone planning to do 40mi? I did 15mi a week ago after over a year break and did ok, and I'm hoping to up it to 25mi-ish range.

Doug, you could probably do part of the route with the group, then at 12-13 miles, just turn around and ride back.

Is this a 25 mile ride or a 40 mile ride?

We are very new rider friendly. Depending on how long you have ridden for before, this may be a bit of a long ride... however, we have shorter rides frequently. Most bike shops should have a spare tube that you can get easily.

I would really like to join but I don't bike ride as much and I don't have a helmet, pump or tire for the bike. the tire is a thick one. I was told it's for mountain not road.

Thank you so much Melinda for responding. However, I won't be able to make this ride but I will try to purchase the equipment I need and be prepared for the next ride. Hopefully it will be for a beginner like me. Again thank you so much and enjoy the ride.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
