Memorial Bridge Road Race

Prescott Park Arts Festival and Community Child Care Center of Portsmouth are delighted to present the First Annual Memorial Bridge 5k Road Race. The crossing of the newly completed Memorial Bridge will be a symbolic way for the community to welcome back the beloved city icon. Post-race, the day's festivities continue with a Kid's Fun Run around Prescott Park, and the infamous Chili Fest, featuring Redhook beer, live music, and of course, all the chili you can eat! All runners will receive $5 off Chili Cook-Off entry AND a FREE drink ticket!

As a way to honor the courageous people that the Memorial Bridge represents, we have partnered with Long Term Care Partners, who will underwrite race registrations costs for active military, reservists, and veterans participating in the 1st Annual ISM Memorial Bridge Road Race. Please note: Bring your military ID with you at registration.

The Memorial Bridge Road Race is a first-time, collaborative effort between Prescott Park Arts Festival and the Community Child Care Center of Portsmouth, offered as part of the Portsmouth Community Road Race Series.

The race will begin on the Kittery-side of the Memorial Bridge at 10AM, immediately cross over the Piscataqua on the new bridge, and will conclude the 3.1 mile loop at Prescott Park. All children are invited to participate in the Fun Run and the 24th annual Chili Cook-Off will kick off shortly after at 11:30AM.

This is part of the Portsmouth Community Road Race Series.

Do we have enough people to go-in on a team registration? The website says that 5 people can register as a team for $75 (as opposed to $21 each).

    Just a thought,
