Big Red Challenge

In order to raise funds and awareness for wounded veterans, Big Red Challenge is administering an obstacle race on April 26, 2014 called The Big Red Challenge Campusathlon™, presented by Men’s Health™ in Lincoln, NE. It will be the first college/university version of the Men’s Health Urbanathalon (International Urban Obstacle Race Series).

Racers have the option to run either a 5K or a competitive 10K while tackling approximately 5-10 different obstacles along the way.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female 10K finishers:

Not feeling competitive? Sign up for the non-competitive division and jog, walk or both with your friends! Participants may enter as individuals or in teams.
Within the non-competitive division there will be competition between branches of service, sororities, fraternities, colleges, corporations, first-responders, police against fire departments, fire house against fire house, perhaps even city against city.

After the Campusathlon™, the expo will include local food and drink vendors, booths featuring our sponsors and live music by the American Hitmen. This will allow contestants, spectators and all members of the community to celebrate the race and further contribute to the cause.

Join our Honorary Chairman and Medal of Honor winner, Bob Kerrey, and grab your friends, family and co-workers for a good time, a great cause and a grand post-race celebration!

Oh, and don’t forget to wear the craziest, most patriotic costume you can come up with!

Runners will receive a t-shirt and one ticket to a Saltdogs baseball game of their choice!

Are YOU up for the Challenge? Register now. Prices will go up on April 11th!

I will update the exact address when my packet arrives. It is at UNL in Lincoln, NE, but the address on here is not for our event! Stayed tuned and it will be updated soon. Also, we will need a few volunteers for this event. Please let me know if you're interested.

    Thank you...Stacie

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
