Runstreet's Beginning Runners Group meets every Saturday, usually at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. All paces of runners welcome. Just come in your running shoes ready to run and enjoy our beautiful city. Whether you're just beginning to run, never ran before or have done 5Ks, we'll go at paces that suit everyone. Each meeting includes a short talk on a different topic, such as finding the right shoes, nutrition, race tips, weight loss tips and weekly mileage goals.
Due to demand, Team Runstreet will also be meeting for some weekday workouts to improve our speed and fitness levels. These workouts are also open to all levels of runners and some involve cross training like crunches, push-ups, pull-ups and more.
