Hi. I'm Larry. I rode regularly about 35 years ago. I enjoy kayaking, swimming, biking and running. A type II diabetic, I get involved in physical activity to keep my blood sugar under control. Working out makes me feel alive.
I enjoy nice leisurely rides, keeping a 12-16 MPH pace.
I rode in the 2012 TDC of Greater Philadelphia.
Yes.
I am pleased to be part of Team Red. Training rides are regularly scheduled, and members of this team actually show up for the rides. The discussions are lively and helpful. Team red members seem to be passionate about diabetes and those who have it. Everyones story is motivating.

I had an excellent ride Larry! It was hard. They were moving quickly but, I made it and I got up all the hills :) I was honored to ride and humbled by all the support I received as a survivor. The whole experience is really healing for me and I definitely needed the time away. Hope all is well with you! The Tour de Cure is coming up! I just ordered a new ride jersey so it should be in by next week!
Thanks Larry. I ways to go yet.
Thank you Larry. It was so nice everyone. I am very happy to be part of Team Red-what a great group. I wish the room was more conducive to socializing, but we will all meet up in June.

Happy New Year Larry! Thanks for your note earlier this week. Hope the weather is cooperative next weekend.
larry, i will not be at this ride as i thought it was on wednesday - they either changed it or i am loosing my mind. i have my DE club ride on Tuesday nights.
That was a great ride today Larry! Just what I needed. Between yesterday's hike and today's ride, once I got home, I was in a coma for 4 hours. It knocked me out in a great way :) I feel really good now. Thanks again and hope to see you next week.
Can Mark tag along on Sunday? Do you have room tor both of us?
start in conshy for what? the sunday ride?
Thanks Larry. Are yours the newer design that came out after 2009? I was reading so many bad reviews before that on the hullivator. It is the reason I have been skeptical. I also had someone mention it can hit the side of the vehicle although the demos I have watched do not appear to have that problem. I really appreciate your input.
Hey Larry. I readbthatnyou purchased the hullivator. How is that working out? Any difficulty with travelling on highways? I currently have the hull-a-port but I need help getting my yak on and off the vehicle. I am co spidering a hullivator.
