The Atlanta NetSquared Meetup - Community Building

  • Oct 23, 2007 · 7:00 PM

Event planning plays a central role in community development. This is a well known reality, and applys just as much to online communities as it does to offline communities. In fact, it's best not to think of your core community as on or offline, but consider them one and the same.

This month, we'll be talking about the basics of community building around social causes using a combination of social media and good old fashioned event planning practices.

From Meetup.com, to Facebook, your own personal blog, or series of Youtube videos, we'll discuss how all these tools can be used to bring people together and form a community with online and in-person presence.
