Concepts and Coffee at TechShop Detroit

Show your community what you're making! "Concepts and Coffee" happens at TechShop Detroit the second Saturday of every month. Bring in a project for Show and Tell and talk shop with other members of the maker community. Then take part in an open mic "town hall" discussion and Q&A. We welcome both members and non-members.

Get to know your maker-neighbors -- there's no telling what cool things it could lead to!

This is a free event hosted by TechShop Detroit and is not affiliated with any other groups or companies. Visitors to the shop must sign waivers to enter the shop. Questions? Call (313)[masked].

Thanks again Tech Shop Team for putting on a great show. All three presentations were great and very interesting to see what other members have done using the Tech Shop. Sean did a good job explaining Speed, Feeds, and Cutting and how each relates to types of materials and also the type of tooling that you use. We need more information like this that isn't always covered in a Tech Shop Class just because of the limits of class time. A series of "add-on" mini course would be great over the next year. Also, new idea's for mini courses would be one on the Digital Software for the CNC Sewing Machine, Arduino programming users groups, electronics users groups, ShopBot, etc. Almost every area of the Tech Shop should have members working together to make better Maker's.
