It convinced me that this was the time to join. What I want to do is techinically feasible, as soon as I acquire some skills in construction of physical devices, which has always been the place where I gave up.

It wasn't all that hard to add the couple sentences that told me why I really want to come!

Hey Joseph! To answer your question, an Arduino is a single-board microcontroller to make using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. You can read more about Arduino here: This meetup is intended for those who want to learn more about microcontrollers (including but not limited to Arduino) and/or want to share their projects that involve this technology with others. I hope that clarifies thing!

I might attend if the cute invite hinted at what this is and what it might be good for. For all I know, it is a coffee-cup heater, and I don't drink coffee. So I don't even know if I want to spend two hours finding out about it. A sentence telling me why I might care wouldn't have been all that hard to write.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
