Great gathering this month, everybody. The discussion this felt a little more open and I think we all came away learning something. I look forward to the next one!

Sorry I have to miss this one, but I have a previous holiday-related commitment. See you in Januarry. Ideally (and optimistically) I will have the "product" version of the breadboarded distance-detector I demonstrated last month.

Wow! This is located in the area where I used to live near. I was reading online about a guy who hacked a Baofeng UV3 & UV5R, controlling it with the Arduino. I have a Master UV-200 that I want to put on the operating table to see if it can be controlled. I can sacrifice this mini transceiver as it is not fully functional and is my first radio. I think that you guys can teach me alot since I am a newbie.
