What kind of Maker are you?

I make buildings, but also have collaborated on some large scale performance art in association with the Flux Foundation. Custom furniture making is also an interest of mine.

If you could build anything, what would it be?

a small remote village that transforms for the seasons, generates all of its own energy, and restores it's surrounding habitat.

What new maker skill are you interested in learning this year?

vacuum forming is something I have always been interested in, but never learned how to use. Electronics are also something I would like to know more about.

If you could host a meet-up or a workshop at TechShop, what would it be about?

If I could host a meetup or group at Techshop, it would probably revolve around other architects that are working with parametric modeling tools and attempting to tie them directly to digital fabrication.

I'm an architect interested in parametric building information modeling, and the ways that mass customization can be achieved efficiently using direct digital fabrication.
