Thanks for the warm welcome. We'll see next week.
Thanks for the corrected link; as it happens, I had already filled out that survey.
Travis, Thank you for your wecoming message. The link you posted "http://bit.ly/SanDiegoMaker![]()
" 404's but I did fill out the survey as asked when I joined the group.
Thanks Travis! Unfortunately I can't be at the first meeting on Thursday but I'm definitely looking forward to helping with the Maker Faire in any way I can.
Travis,
Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to meeting you and the rest of the makers present at the Thursday meeting.
I won't be able to make this meetup. But I will keep an eye open fro the next one.
Travis, I think we may have met before if not, "lasers" as in both. As an artist I an currently playing around with leds and acrylic lights and mirrors, and as for cutting and etching, recently I can be found at the Maker Place, but when I worked for Callaway I created and set up the laser engraving and etching program that they are currently running. I have experienced a mini-Maker Fair in Austin at SXSW 08 and had a great time.I Look forward to get more involved in the maker community.
I would love to have you there but I agree that this meeting might not have the most to offer. What I would like to do is maybe schedule a Google Hangout with you and some of our members so that we can ask questions or just learn more about you.
You sound like Superman! Welcome to the group, please feel free to give some guidance on your favorite trails.
Hey Travis, thanks for the invite. My daughter was born somewhat unexpectedly early in mid February so things have been a little busy for the last few weeks. I'm hoping to make it to the orientation / GREEN safety lecture next Saturday. Hopefully I'll see you there.
