In this talk, Steve Klabnik will cover the basics of building an application with Rails and Ember.js, and discuss how "API-first" can change your software design.

Steve Klabnik is a Ruby Hero, open source enthusiast and a Rails committer ,busy getting Rails 4 out of the door.

By day, he maintains many Ruby gems (Draper, Resque, and others) and teaches Ruby and Rails with Jumpstart Lab. He also writes about topics such as hypermedia and Rust, and is currently writing "Rails 4 in Action.
