Mediuum is currently building a platform on which customers can purchase digital editions of art work and display them on any screen.Given the huge amount of interest we've seen from both artists and consumers, we are looking for technical help so we can keep apace. You will be working with the Mediuum team, artists, and customers, and will be able to leverage the prototyping work done to date. Current projects include:

Mobile/TV App Developer

Mediuum is looking for a mobile developer to build our art streaming apps that will deliver art onto
the television sets and mobile devices of our users.

We are looking for someone who
- has several years of experience developing mobile apps
- has experience developing apps for TV
- has worked on more than one platform (e.g. iOS and Android)
- can quickly learn and develop on new platforms

Tasks
- build an app for SamsungTV or the Roku platform
- build an iOS or Android app

Systems Operations Engineer

Mediuum is looking for a mobile developer to build our infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who
- has several years of experience developing and managing infrastructure
- has managed graceful-failover systems
- has managed infrastructure on dedicated servers as well as cloud-based platforms
- has experience with deployment and systems integration tools like Chef and Puppet
- has worked with monitoring tools such as Nagios
- can script in one or more languages (Bash or Ruby preferred)
- is familiar with a SCM tool such as Git

Tasks
- deploy a copy of our code on a Rackspace server
- deploy a copy of our code on Amazon AWS
- set up monitoring tools
- create a fail-over system between Heroku and Rackspace/AWS
- write scripts to manage deployment on Rackspace/AWS
- create a Rackspace deployment of our system
