Bassnectar at the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh

Bassnectar with Eskmo and Filastine Lincoln Theater 126 E. Cabarrus St. Raleigh, NC Doors 8pm, Show at 9pm $21 advance, $26 day of the show Hailing from San Francisco and playing multiple gigs at Burning Man for more than 10 years in a row, Lorin Ashton is hands down one of the best DJs/producers/performers that I've ever seen. He plays an Ableton live PA with dirty dubstep and breaks that have sick ultra low basslines. He's also got one of the most diverse musical palates around in EDM. The last time I saw him at the Cat's Cradle, he mixed Metallica to Ella Fitzgerald to Beastie Boys...and made it WORK. Combined with the amazing sound and lights at the Lincoln (props to Eric the sound guy and Synergy who often do the lighting), this is a show that's *NOT* to be missed.
