In the future, we should either reschedule or provide warning if this occurs on May 5. Getting to the TechShop today involved a very circuitous route, lots of traffic, and having to get the cops to let me through a road-block.

It was great to see you again Owen. Watching you make an Arduino out of just parts was way to fun. As for rescheduling, we have the meetings on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. We have found that when we move away from the set schedule, that people get confused and either do not show up the the new time or show up when the meeting has been moved. I also have no way of knowing when San Jose will be a mess with traffic or not. If you want to talk about this some more, I would love to sit down with you so we can make a yearly calendar.

Is today's meet up is on?

The meet up was one. Sorry to respond late, but I drove from a kids camp in Willits almost directly to the Techshop and did not have internet access till I drove home.

Where can I buy an adruino kit?

      April 24

    • Shane W.

You can buy them at Fry's, and Radio Shack. If you are looking for a full kit, then I would get them from either adafruit.com or sparkfun.com.

This is going to be the last meet up before the Maker Faire. I will be showing my kids wearable electronics.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
