South Bay Electronics and Embedded Designers Meetup

The meetup has become a great place to talk about electronics. Most members are actively building something. Really great group of people and a fun time. Tours of Techshop are free and ad hoc. For food, McDonalds is next store. If Techshop parking ever gets full, there is free parking on the side streets.

sorry for the late news - but I will not be at the meeting tonight. I'm on my way out of town for work.
I will bring the TTL parts next time. I can drop them off at Tech Shop if they can store them there.

hi. will there be a specific topic of presentation or discussion at this event?

Not really, we schedule presentations ad hoc and I would announce it. People bring what they are working on and break off into groups to discuss.

I have a ton of TTL logic devices from years ago. I would bet these are all 5V logic devices. I can bring them to the meeting tomorrow and everyone can take some. Its easier to give them away than try to sell them on eBay. :)

Sounds like a good idea. Raw materials sometimes inspire a project and everyone loves free stuff. (But they can also sometimes take up storage forever).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
