I had a great time and found it was a good deal easier to get the arduino to perform than I expected.

Great meetup. Really cool and friendly people. Elis is a master teacher.
Hello - We are working to build a new wireless network in the bay area for makers to connect their portable electronics projects to the web. Our first radio will be an Arduino shield so people can easily connect their Arduino projects. Please check us out at levelrf.com and I look forward to talking to you at the meetup!

Mitchell, you will most likely be able to get help on your current projects at the meetup.

There is no fee for anything at the meetup. There is however a candy tax. If you bring candy prepare to be taxed! It is not required that you have a arduino or laptop, but please bring them if you do. Again, if you have a laptop or arduino please bring them. If you have a laptop but no arduino, bring the laptop. If you have neither that's okay too, come on by anyway.
Do we need to bring anything? If we have an Uno R3 board, should we bring that? Is there an event or participation fee?

Is this simply a meetup for an exchange of ideas/talk about projects? Display completed projects? Or could someone perhaps get assistance with a project?

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
