Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc’s mission is to significantly prevent and reduce the incidents of teenage pregnancy, sexual transmitted diseases, rape, teen suicides, drop out rates, while increasing self-worth, graduation rates, coping skills for peer pressures while developing and promoting awareness. Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc. will also provide knowledge, education and awareness on the consequences of the choices through the delivery of innovative programs. These programs are 1) delivered in a language that adolescents and teens understand, 2) focused on solutions for all children especially the underserved and at-risk community members; 3) establishment of a network of support groups, outreach resources, helpful information and instructions for children and their families as well as help other organizations to give back to the community. In order to meet this objective, we will host several events as well as in house afterschool and summer enrichment classes that will promote awareness and present the opportunity for those to collaborate with us to give back to the community. Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc. is designed to not only make people aware of high Sex rates and pregnancy in our teen community; to name a few, it is also designed to help with financial support of other organizations with the same mission. The events outlined in this proposal will attract everyone that is interested in making a difference in fighting against all types of Teen issues. It is Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc.’s objective to establish events in 2011 and 2012 as outlined in this proposal. In the following years we will continue to enhance the quality of these events and other functions so as to ensure they become recognized as one of the premiere functions for awareness for many diseases that plague the world.
