Today our guest is Jerome Lacoste, CTO of French-Norwegian startup WeWantToKnow. He will tell us about DragonBox Algebra, an award-winning game that "secretly teaches algebra" to kids and DragonBox Elements, which teaches the foundations of geometry and mathematical proof. He will tell how the games were created, what inspires the team and what challenges, technical and non-technical, the team met on their long and hard way to success.
The list of awards that WeWantToKnow and DragonBox received is long. It includes Telenor's Digital Winner, IMGA Best Educational Game Award and Gulltasten Årets App.
Jerome was a freelance software developer for 10 years before co-founding WeWantToKnow. He is particularly interested in build & task automation. In his free time, Jerome doesn't spend time with pets, music instruments or martial art training. His hobby hereby remains a secret.
