Is there a project you'd like to start or try but are scared to? Are there weird stitches or strange abbreviations that you can't wrap your head around? Thinking about actually trying that new circular needle but the thought of a twist has got you twisted up? Please attend! We have knitters of all different skill levels, and we are all willing to help you with your current "knitter's block"!
If you're a new knitter, please bring size 6 or 7 single-point needles, and some good old worsted weight yarn. A nice yarn to start with is Sugar n Creme Cotton, which is inexpensive, good to practice with and you'll end up with something useable. If you're still not sure what to bring, a "Beginner's Kit" will be available for $5!

Hello everyone!
For a change of pace, we will not be meeting at our normal haunt. Instead, we will be going to TEMPE YARN AND FIBER, 1415 E University Dr Tempe, AZ 85281 - (480) 557-9166. This won't be an OFFICIAL meetup - there won't be any dues, and there won't be a raffle prize. The reason for this is to take an opportunity to knit on the GIANT SOCK! Read more
