Hunter Museum Arts + Issues series 'The Idea of Wilderness'

On Thursday evening November 15, Tennessee WIld's Jeff Hunter will lead a discussion on wilderness at the Hunter Museum of American Art as part of their Art + Issues series.  This event is free and open to the public. Here are more details from the museum website;

Our in-gallery community dialogues continue with Jeff Hunter, Director of Tennessee Wild, exploring the work of contemporary artist Sybille Peretti to lead a discussion on the way the wild figures in our imaginations, our reality and our future. Free to all in the community.

Come participate in the discussion and take action for wilderness.  Any postcards written to Congress in support of wilderness will be hand delivered to Washington, DC the very next day.

    a great match between wilderness and thoughtful conversation about what it takes to protect it and how the arts can partner with its protection.

    For anyone interested, we will walk across the Market Street Bridge to Stone Cup Coffee to continue the conversation. Stone Cup serves beer & food in addition to java. Join us if you can.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
