I have been volunteering with TN Wild for years and thought I was already in the meetup system; it tells me that my e-mail address is in use but I never see anything, even in my spam folder, so I'm trying it via Facebook.
I'm an ecologist, botanist, and invasive plant expert who moved to Madisonville to do the Tallassee Botanical Integrity Survey.
Tennessee is actually tamer than it thinks. Oh, do you mean the organization? Nifty. I honestly & repeatedly support TN Wild and its support of wilderness designation. Wilderness is a valuable and in many ways necessary management alternative to how the Forest Service operates most of our national forests these days. The USFS was originally supposed to practice culling instead of clearcutting, but it & the national forests have suffered from mission creep.
