This is a hybrid group exercise class and turbocharged all-levels tennis clinic with social event to follow (socials occur on the monthly special events and other select sessions)
Have a ton of fun running your butt off! Doesn’t matter if you never picked up a racquet in your life or played competitive tennis, the high intensity hitting drills and games will help you learn and improve while burning lots of calories!
Sessions are led by certified tennis pros and fitness trainers using tennis courts and surrounding area featuring equipment such as TRX, medicine balls, bands, agility ladders, mini-hurdles, parachute resisted runs and other portable and effective fitness equipment. Tennis racquets and balls are also provided. Some classes even provide loaner Polar heart rate monitors so you can see your caloric expenditures and optimize anaerobic/aerobic training.
The periodic socials are “potbelly-less-luck” or hosted provided featuring healthy post-workout food and beverages and we try to have a sports nutritionist as special guest to further fuel your needs. Since the sessions are professionally instructed, there may be a small fee to cover these costs for the 90 min class, plus an additional complimentary 30-60 minutes of optional "speed-tennis" round robin games. Host-catered socials have a cost-covering additional small charge. We will be procuring sponsors to offer free events whenever possible or at least lower any costs when incurred.
Sometimes we will be meshed with another special event like a pro tournament, facility open house, charity fundraiser and the format will be relative to the event.
