How it works

Would you like to learn how to play tennis in a social friendly group? It's great exercise and fun.

In essence we have coaching for beginners and drills and skills for improvers and intermediate levels.

The organiser is not a tennis coach but I can give guidance to beginners and some pointers to improvers/intermediate players. A professional coach is brought in, where possible, when we have appropriate confirmed numbers.

Cost is 15 euro for the first hour and 10 for the second. You can play for 1 or 2 hours. Balls are provided and the organizer will usually have a few starter rackets that can be used for 2 euro per hour (but if you brake the racket you will be expected to replace it or pay 40euro for it).

Types of activity focused on:

Week 1-

Forehand Top-spin: proper technique introduction, static and dynamic balance

Drills - dynamic basket feeding exercises, related to the stroke.

Week 2-

Backhand Top-spin: proper technique introduction, grip change, static and dynamic balance

Drills - dynamic basket feeding exercises, related to the stroke

Week 3-

Drills - dynamic basket feeding exercises related to the strokes

Week 4-
