This is an elitist group of supermodels and pro tennis athletes. Yeah right we're a mix of everyday people, just a fun group. Meet other tennis lovers near you! We host a weekly tennis round robin - mixed doubles - on Saturday evenings at the Lauderdale tennis club, please arrive at 1:30 PM. All tennis players are welcome to play. 3.5 level & above players (sorry No Beginners). Tennis is from 1:45PM - 5:00PM. The Lauderdale Tennis Club has long been regarded as one of the premier tennis facilities in all of South Florida. It is situated in a gated community in a lush green garden setting that features 20 meticulously groomed clay tennis courts with eight lighted for year round night play.

The Clubhouse recently underwent a half million dollar renovation, which included all new locker rooms and showers, hot tub and fitness center. Recently contracted with one of South Florida’s top catering services to run and manage all of the catering operations including; The Patio Bar, Dining Rooms and Sports Bar. The social scene never takes time off or a back seat to the tennis here at the club. Just about everything we’ve previewed on this page can be considered an amenity. From the large swimming pool and hot tub overlooking the center court, to The Patio Bar, where members gather for cocktails, great comfort food and lively conversation, We wanted to do something different this time If you love tennis and you love people come out to socialize with your fellow tennis lovers let’s get to know one another. TOG is providing opportunities for tennis players in the South Florida area to meet for tennis events and social activities year around. Social tennis is our main focus.
Tennis Lovers, tennis junkies, even tennis addicts no matter how you refer to yourself. Starting next year 2010 if you are not serious/active about tennis we still talking about competitive social tennis, you will be removed from our club. Our active members are asking for only serious minded players, we intend to keep them happy. Make sure you keep checking the meet up club to see what’s going on. This is an offline and online community. While we understand that you have a busy life with many demands we do expect that you are active in our group. If you don’t participate in the group at all after 60 days your account will be deleted.
This site has been created to help local tennis players identify playing partners, to set up local tennis meet ups for practice and serious games of singles, doubles, and mix doubles at tennis courts. Although I made the initial effort to start this group in November 2008, your input, thoughts, ideas and participation will be essential in making our gatherings fun, interesting and fulfilling. Remember, this is our group. Everyone has a say in this group, so feel free to come with any suggestions you might have. By joining this group you are saying to everyone else who's a member: I want to play tennis, so contact me if you play nearby or are of a similar level. All members should make every effort to contact other members to set up tennis meet ups as long as you feel comfortable meeting and playing that member. How you determine if you want to play another member is up to you. Of course email is an ideal way to start the conversation, so here's your chance. We encourage our Members to contact each other to set up informal practice sessions or serious tennis matches.

2) Preference for singles or doubles.
