This four-part Intro to Meditation class will present some simple meditation techniques that will help us deal with the stresses of daily life and awaken us to the joy of the present moment. This free drop-in series is open to everyone, regardless of belief system or meditation experience.
Each Tuesday evening of the series, we will watch a video featuring meditation master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, author of the bestselling book, The Joy of Living. He will present practical meditation instructions that you can apply to daily life, and will guide you in starting and maintaining a regular practice.
Following the video, we will have a group discussion, with time for questions and brief practice sessions.
If you're new to meditation, this is an excellent way to get started. Even if you've been meditating for years, you're likely to find some gems in Rinpoche's instructions!
